Yelala is an ancient Hebrew word which is commonly understood as mournful wailing. In fact, it is a loud cry of any kind - sorrow, rage, joy, ecstasy.
This is Jewish-rooted, earth-centred sharing of empowering, embodied practice and marginalised wisdom from Biblical antiquity to the present day.
Yelala is a body of work & gathering of likeminded souls based in the UK, & curated by Kohenet Rachel, and Tsova (Kohenet-initiate) Yael, the first two women based outside of North America to be ordained by the Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute.
